Former Brauhaus Mitte reopened as a new Lemke location. I am glad they kept the old sign on the roof.


Andechs Hell and Schneider Weisse are most interesting taps.

Pilsner Urquell tankovna on an island beer garden.


Self-described New York-style bar with Augustiner and Schneider Weisse on draft, some craft beers in bottles. And, they claim, a high tech ventilation system.


Funky biergarten with Pilsner Urquell tankovna.and Spaten beers on draft.


Sion Kölsch and Budweiser Budvar are the most interesting beers. Food is salads and various meat and cheese plates.


They have 18 taps but mostly national brands. After 5pm the price of beers fluctuate based on popularity -- a "Beer Stock Exchange"


Vegan restaurant with house beers brewed at Brewbaker.

Dive bar with Pilsener Urquell tankovna and some interesting bottles. Food is served from 12:30-3:30pm and 6-11pm daily. Large smoking bar in the basement.


In a railway arch under the S Bahn. Full range of Lemke beers, many on tap, the rest in bottles.



Beers not especially interesting but its early hours and location at the Alexanderplatz station makes it convenient for a quick beer when passing thru.


Jarosover "Schwarzbier" from Pivovar Breznak. Otherwise a typical locals pub pretty much unchanged in recent times. There is a hotel in back.


Rhineland themed pub with a political bent and Gaffel Kölsch on tap. Same building as Die Berliner Republic.


Taproom and restaurant for the BraufactuM, the "craft beer" arm of the Radeberg Group.


New store from the Bamberg based Bierothek chain of bottle shops. Bottles to go as well as ten taps.


New (Fall 2020) craft beer bar. Tag line -- "Drink to the East" and name would suggest Russian or Eastern European beers but at time of writing they have most German, Dutch and American beers.
