Self-described New York-style bar with Augustiner and Schneider Weisse on draft, some craft beers in bottles. And, they claim, a high tech ventilation system.



Jarosover "Schwarzbier" from Pivovar Breznak. Otherwise a typical locals pub pretty much unchanged in recent times. There is a hotel in back.


Hostel with real working nanobrewery inside.


They have 18 taps but mostly national brands. After 5pm the price of beers fluctuate based on popularity -- a "Beer Stock Exchange"

Dive bar with Pilsener Urquell tankovna and some interesting bottles. Food is served from 12:30-3:30pm and 6-11pm daily. Large smoking bar in the basement.

Former Stone Tap Room under new ownership and connected to Protokol.


Smallish pub with a good selection of Mikkeller beers plus a few quality guests. Meat and cheese plates available for snacks.


Restaurant with a Bavarian-sized summer beer garden and two house beers of unclear origin. Venerable and shady. Cash only.


Swabian restaurant with Rothaus Pils and Hefeweizen and Augustiner Hell and now with Pilsner Urquell tankovna. Cash only.


Corner pub with good food and a decent beer selection.


Rhineland themed pub with a political bent and Gaffel Kölsch on tap. Same building as Die Berliner Republic.


Beers are currently brewed off site but a brewery is in the process of being installed. Pizza available in the evening.


New (Fall 2020) craft beer bar. Tag line -- "Drink to the East" and name would suggest Russian or Eastern European beers but at time of writing they have most German, Dutch and American beers.


Restaurant and tap room for the Bavarian brewery. Full range of beers on trap.


Traditional Berliner/German cooking, kids menu, and a house pils of unclear origin.


Burlesque bar with craft beer. You can enjoy a beer without the show.
